STAHLWERK products are designed in Germany and produced in compliance with the highest standards. The 7-year STAHLWERK guarantee applies to all electronic components installed in welding machines and plasma cutters. It also covers the rechargeable battery units of our brushless product line, car battery chargers, filter cassettes for welding helmets and compressed air compressors of the STAHLWERK brand.

In the case of welding equipment and plasma cutters, the warranty applies in particular to circuit boards and inverters. Especially for these important components, STAHLWERK grants the right to free repair within the scope of the warranty. This means that customers can enjoy their equipment for a long time and, together with STAHLWERK, take responsibility for the sustainable use of electronic equipment.

Best service for customers even after the warranty has expired
As an owner-managed company, we at STAHLWERK have been paying particular attention to solid quality and a long-term relationship with our customers for over 20 years. Even outside the warranty period, our customers can always contact us if they have any problems. We analyse the device in our workshop and work out the further procedure together with the customer. Regardless of the warranty and the type of problem, our service and technical staff are always available to help and advise customers.

What to do in the event of a warranty claim

The guarantee entitles the customer to free repair of any damaged parts covered by the guarantee. The warranty period is seven years and begins with receipt of the goods. Example: Receipt of the goods on 30.06.2020. Start of the guarantee period: 30.06.2020. End of the guarantee period: 29.06.2027.

To make a warranty claim, please contact us within the warranty period. You can do this either by telephone or by e-mail. Our staff will be happy to help you. If remote maintenance is not possible, please send the unit to us. After a detailed analysis, the unit will be repaired and sent back to you. If a repair is not possible, a replacement will be sent to you after consultation. The repair and the return shipment are free of charge for you. You only pay the shipping costs to us.

Services outside the warranty
Regardless of the warranty and the type of problem, our service and technical staff are at your disposal. Therefore, you are welcome to contact us outside the warranty period if necessary. After analysing the device, you will receive a cost estimate and then decide how you would like to proceed.
